Tech billionaire Elon Musk left his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on May 30 after leading a controversial effort to downsize the federal workforce and slash spending. Although Musk initially claimed he would remain “a friend and adviser” to the president, he slammed his new tax-cut and spending bill and later accused him of being named in the government files on Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and paedophile.
