Each agent has their own abilities, and they see the world in different ways, which can determine how the case is resolved. You’ll have to choose a case every day and assign two agents to investigate it. You’ll visit alleys, lonely libraries, or abandoned radio stations, asking questions to gather the pieces to find the truth.

The game is described by the developers as an eerie experience, featuring an original soundtrack, perspective-led deductive gameplay, and atmospheric 3D environments. It also has a painterly style that reminded me a lot of the paintings by Edward Hopper.

The Eventide is being developed by Studio Reset, which is formed by Kaelin Lavallée, Kris Schoneberg, and Francis Lacuna, who worked on Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and The Long Dark. The Eventide doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
