Immigrants in France, like in other countries, often face challenges such as the language, literacy and precarious living conditions. Our guest aims to bridge those challenges. Maya Persaud is based in Paris and is the co-founder and director of Espero, a work support programme that helps unemployed people use their talents in their new home country. She tells us what inspired her to create Espero.
