Sylvan Kim, the 3D Animator behind many of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s characters and creatures, continues to captivate fans of the game and digital animation as a whole with one more amazing behind-the-scenes demo.

Recently, the artist offered a closer look at The Curator, showing in more detail one of his attacks that didn’t make it into the final game, presented as a UE5 Level Sequence shot. Sylvan described this as one of his favorite boss monster animations from the game, thanks to his dynamic and flashy movements, which made animating the boss especially fun. He used Autodesk 3ds Max to set up the attack sequence.
