3D Character Artist Yosef Abbas unveiled this captivating portrait of Daryl Dixon, a beloved character of The Walking Dead. The artwork is a personal interpretation of the character, with the likeness of an actor Norman Reedus.
According to artist, with this project, he tried to improve his skills in facial detailing, clothing design, grooming, and overall presentation. Yosef Abbas provided a breakdown of crafting the portrait and outlined the main workflow stages. Thus, for sculpting, the creator used ZBrush; for the skin details, he utilized Texturing XYZ as a base and then sculpted additional details by hand to approach the maximum likeness, also using polypaint to adjust and balance the facial tones.
