DR Congo tries ex-leader Kabila for treason in absentia

In tonight’s edition, former DRC president Joseph Kabila is now on trial for treason, accused of backing M23 rebels in the country’s troubled east. 

Also, the UN World Food Programme announced it will suspend aid operations in Nigeria starting next month.

And a young senegalese herder  has returned to his village after five years of transhumance across several countries.
