Epic Games Unveils Its GDC 2026 Lineup

Taking place March 9-13 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the GDC Festival of Gaming invites attendees to explore the latest in game development, celebrate the community, and have some fun along the way. At this year’s GDC, Epic Games will host four lecture sessions along with two additional talks on the show floor.

The program includes Hitting 60 FPS in UE5 and Keeping It There, which focuses on achieving and maintaining target frame rates, Tuning Your Unreal Engine 5 Game for Mobile Deployment, covering settings, features, and workflows for scaling performance and quality across iOS and Android, and Developing Large Procedural Systems with Low Friction and Fast Generation, which explores key concepts for building large-scale Unreal Engine projects. The session Cross-Platform Isn’t a Checkbox: Designing Games for Fortnite offers a deeper look at UEFN tools.

Epic Games will also highlight real student success stories, projects that began in classrooms, community spaces, and university labs and grew into meaningful indie endeavours.

We’re also giving away five tickets to the GDC Festival of Gaming 2026, just take a quick quiz.
