Edward Ureña, the developer behind Rig Creator, a Blender add-on designed to build base rigs for various characters, including facial rigs, has released a highly anticipated update, hinted at back in April.

According to release notes, the rigging system has been completely overhauled to enhance several features and introduce new tools, resulting in a more streamlined workflow. Notably, facial rigging functionality has been added to simplify animating facial expressions.

All bone generators have been reviewed and improved for better performance and functionality. A new feature called Relationship has been introduced, enabling more intuitive management of bone connections.

Additional improvements include optimizing the constraints panel for smoother operation and changing the names of bones and base rig collections to English. The documentation has also been updated and now offers an English version to better support international users.
