In case you missed this, Kawaii Physics allows you to simulate physics in a way that fits stylized games, where realistic movements might feel out of place. It’s great for all sorts of things, from bouncy hair and swaying skirts to anything else you can dream up. What’s especially cool is that it was mostly built by one person, Kazuya Okada aka pafuhana1213, and it’s been used in major commercial games like Tekken 8, Stellar Blade, and Persona 3 Reload. Even better, it’s open-source and totally free to use.
Cobra Code, specializing in various easy-to-follow Unreal Engine 5 tutorials, released a new video that gives a nice overview of how it all works. Also, Kawaii Physics now supports Unreal Engine 5.5, so it’s a great time to check it out.
