Godot Engine 4.5 is fast approaching, and the latest pre-release candidate is now available for everyone to try. As the project has entered feature freeze in the beta phase, development will now focus solely on fixing bugs and resolving regressions.

A total of 79 contributors submitted 168 fixes for Godot Engine 4.5 beta 4. It includes fixes for Editor, GUI, GDScript, rendering, and more. You can also try the Web editor, the XR editor, or the Android editor for this release. If you are interested in the latter, request to join the testing group to get access to pre-release builds here.

You can have a look at the current list of regressions and critical issues the development team aims to resolve before the final release of 4.5 by clicking this link. It’s dynamic and will be updated as new showstopping issues are discovered through continued beta testing.
