The team is led by Karoliina Korppoo (creative director) and Des Gayle (former producer on Life is Strange and Citizen Sleeper), alongside a six-person core team. Day Off Interactive operates as a fully remote studio, with members working from various parts of Europe.
“Day Off Interactive’s core values include innovation through simulation, sustainable business growth, and community connection, fostering a welcoming and trusting environment for dialogue and idea sharing,” wrote the team. “The team works 100 percent remotely and has adopted the four-day work week, in keeping with the brand name.”
The studio is already crafting its first title, which will be announced later in 2025. Funding is reportedly sourced from angel investors, but they didn’t disclose specific amounts or backers.
The studio aims to adopt a 4-day workweek as part of its culture, seeking a healthier and more sustainable approach to game development.
