I’ll get straight to it: my absolute favourite noise-cancelling over-ear headphones – the set I use every day – are discounted lower than I’ve ever seen them.

Right now, the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 are just £149 (was £199) at Amazon, and honestly, that is a steal.

This particular 25% saving knocks £50 off the already-reasonable asking fee on five-star cans, and for me, it’s the deal of the summer – but take note, Cambridge has told me that the deal is only live until September 30th.

Prefer buds? The also-excellent Cambridge Audio M100 are discounted too – now just £99 (was £169) at Amazon, which knocks a whopping 41% off their original RRP.

A bit more info, then. Regular readers will know how much I adore Cambridge’s inaugural over-ear headphones, which are incredible value even at their original asking price.

Why? Well, our Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 review is the place to go for the full scoop, but it’s essentially their excellent sound quality, effective ANC, entertaining voice prompts (pick ‘Southwark’ and you get the incomparable Matt Berry) plus a modular design, meaning you’ll even be able to replace the battery when the time comes.

These headphones made their debut on July 15, 2024, and promptly wowed both me and the wider TechRadar team. The company has recently added a P100 SE edition, but it adds only minor tweaks (different padding in the headband; the ability to toggle on Cambridge’s new DynamEQ algorithm to amplify certain frequencies in different environments; a new blue colorway) and to be honest, when the audio is this good anyway I think the smart money stays with the original set.

The UK audio specialist (which now likes to be called just ‘Cambridge’, rather than ‘Cambridge Audio’ among friends) has also updated its earbuds recently, with a set of stem-design buds called the Melomania A100. While those are also a solid five-star set of earbuds, I actually prefer the non-stemmed design of the model on sale here, and my Melomania M100 review is the place to go to learn more.

Either way, it’s excellent portable audio now available for a song. These products feel and sound far more expensive than the discounted prices – emphatically, some of the best noise-cancelling headphones for battery out there, too.

Not quite the models for you? That’s OK, maybe our best AirPods Pro deals for August would be a better fit for what you’re after. Otherwise, have a little scroll to the deals…
