Such is the case with Manni L. Perez, a New York-based actress known for her role as Esperanza Morales in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and widely believed to be the voice and likeness behind GTA VI’s female protagonist, Lucia, who recently “disappeared” from the internet, prompting widespread speculation about the reasons behind it.
First reported by YouTuber SanInPlay, the actress’s Instagram page, which had been very active up until recently, was scrubbed of all images and videos in early July before being deleted entirely.
Interestingly, before the page was shut down and following the release of GTA VI’s second trailer, Perez had been gradually reducing her online presence – interacting with her Instagram less and less, disabling comments on her stories, and even deleting certain posts, including one where she was seen wearing a golden boxing glove pendant that closely resembles the one worn by Lucia in one of the screenshots.
